Review by hotel critic
The Victoria is a solid choice for travelers seeking a blend of value and convenience in Broadbeach, especially if you're keen on being near shops, restaurants, and the beach-all mere minutes away. My apartment was spacious, with a decent sitting area and well-equipped kitchen, which includes cookware and utensils for any in-room dining. On my recent stay, I appreciated the practical amenities like air conditioning, free toiletries, and a washing machine that made my stay much more comfortable. The managers were notably accommodating, ensuring a hassle-free experience, which I found reminiscent of warm, hospitable cultures I often encounter in my archaeological travels. Although the building shows its age, it doesn't detract from the overall experience, especially considering the reasonable rates. The outdoor dining area and pool were lovely extras, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring local sights. In a world of skyrocketing hotel costs, Victoria exemplifies a thoughtful balance between luxury and value, making it a smart option for the discerning traveler. Just be mindful that no pets are allowed, should you be traveling with furry companions.
